„Sometimes, heaven manifests in human form.“
For me, heaven is embodied in this beautiful woman.
We didn’t immediately hit it off, but once we did, our love for each other flourished.
I remember her not only as a friend and companion but as someone I deeply respected and admired.
Her essence captivated me — pure, resilient, genuine, authentic — a marvel in her own beautiful way.
I love her because she came to me when I needed it most. Her love felt like home, giving me more reasons to laugh than words could capture.
She showed me the way.
Lilla not only brought out the best in me but also believed that there was even more from where it came.
My favorite memory of her and me was how we would go to tutoring lessons, only to hang out with each other since we weren’t really allowed otherwise.
Every day after school, we went there. She shared our money to buy lunch, and then we simply sat there with our tutor, not even listening to a word he said. We simply fooled around, day after day.
Reflecting on what she did for me then, merely by being her beautiful self and by being a genuine friend to me, I shall never forget.
She was a friend to me in a way that no one ever was.
Though time has led our paths in different directions, not a month passes without me thinking about her in one way or another.
What is she possibly doing right now? How is she feeling? Who has become part of her life? Is she happy?
The lesson from our time together revealed itself as a vital one.
In our journey — which we call life — we encounter two kinds of people: those who teach us lessons and those who are blessings.
For me, Lilla was a blessing. A blessing that taught me the importance of respect and honesty in a friendship. She taught me vulnerability, simple but strong love, and she showed me how dreams can become reality.
Her unwavering belief in me made me who I am today.
Nowadays, we don’t talk every day, but every day my love for her remains the same, just as I loved her back then.
The only difference now is that I understand better than ever what a blessing she truly was.
We don’t see each other very often, but I don’t believe that this is a necessity. Our friendship remains, through time.
Whenever I think of her, my thoughts always end with a little wish:
„May she receive all the goodness she gave me, and even more.“
Lilla, I love you.
