Two butterflies

There were once two butterflies, living far, far away from each other.

One was a beautiful, powerful, shiny green with little yellow prints, and the other was a strong royal blue with magical red dots.

These two lived their lives in peace and wholeness, surrounded by others they felt comfortable with. However, both had an inner need to discover the world, sensing that something awaited them out there. They never felt unhappy, but they knew something was still missing.

Embarking on a solo journey, they traveled the wide world, not knowing what to expect. They faced times of complete loneliness and obstacles, along with new joy and hope.

They learned so much about themselves, gaining more than they had ever expected, growing significantly. Unaware that this was only preparing them for what was to come.

Over time, they lost hope in finding that certain something, but they made peace with it, finding joy in the journey itself. They accepted being alone with themselves in peace and fulfillment, ready to return to the place of comfort after all the discomfort.

The day they decided to fly back, both stopped at a familiar place they visited when they were feeling lonely. It was a final farewell. But then, they spotted each other. Being drawn to each other’s light and energy, they began to fly around each other, playfully interacting, without knowing what to expect.

By the time they had planned to leave, they decided to stay together. Without exchanging a word, they knew it was the right thing to do. They stayed together without expecting it, choosing a new path, not returning home but flying somewhere else—anywhere, as long as they were together.

And at this moment, I captured them. With my own eyes, I saw these two butterflies dancing around each other on a sunny day, in a beautiful field full of flowers. I came there to find inner peace, and upon seeing them, I knew they had found theirs.

They looked so pretty and harmonious, and I knew these two butterflies belonged together, completing each other.

A connection so perfect and unique that they didn’t need anything else anymore. I felt the love emanating between them. The same love I know I have found as well.

I have found my own butterfly, in the presence of my best friend.

I have found her, completing me as I complete her. I’ve found this beautiful butterfly in my life, and since the day our souls met, I knew I would never need anything more to be fulfilled and truly at peace.

Two butterflies.

Two little girls.

One strongly green and one royal blue.

One with soft green eyes and one with strong blue eyes.

They have found each other.

We have found each other.

I have found my butterfly. – Nina
