Isn’t it beautiful,
this silly little life?
Some days I find myself in awe,
Life is a blessing so incredibly grand, a marvel to explore.
But why is life so astonishing, as I’ve just described it?
I believe that the true beauty of life, of a living being, lies in its simplicity.
The ability to imagine everything and nothing at all,
to daydream for hours on end.
To feel.
Feel the love in our hearts, radiating from us and touching countless others.
To be light and live like nothing truly matters,
indeed,
the truth is that nothing truly matters.
It’s a life where you can shape your destiny,
to be who you’ve always dreamed to be.
Isn’t it fascinating that despite all that the human race has crafted,
money, material goods, the most absurd experiences, the ability to traverse from one place to another, and so much more,
the ultimate source of joy for us humans are our relationships in life?
Friends, family, lovers, even strangers, and all those in between.
The feeling of loving someone, connecting with them, admiring them, the urge to share your life with them, and the fact that you only wish the best for them.
It’s heart-to-heart.
And isn’t it wonderful that apart from love, we feel adoration, joy, awe, excitement, nostalgia, amusement, calmness, and relief?
And then every coin has two sides. Neither is better than the other.
Because we wouldn’t be human if we also didn’t feel anger, confusion, fear, sadness, empathic pain, grief, guilt, envy, disgust, and shame.
These emotions may not feel light, easy, or as uplifting as the ones above, but if we allow ourselves to feel them fully and if we do not push them away, we may discover the hidden beauty in them.
It’s those particular emotions that make us living beings. Those emotions do not solely come from the heart but from the core of our souls.
Those emotions make us feel alive.
Allowing us to embrace the spectrum of life,
on this awe-inspiring Earth.
The beauty of life, which lies in its simplicity, comes to life in the nature of Mother Earth.
It can be found by gazing at the incredible infinite sky, at the endless fruitful woods and fields, as well as in the sound of the roaring sea.
The beauty reveals itself in the stillness we experience when centering ourselves and in the power of belief. In the belief of something bigger than we are. In the belief of someone bigger.
If you only look closely enough, you will soon discover that the beauty of life manifests absolutely everywhere.
Witness it in the power of a stranger’s smile, the nature of animals and little kids. It reveals itself in little but meaningful gestures. The beauty is found in smell, sight, touch, and sound.
In love, in struggle, in objects and history, in story and fantasy, in the rush of modern life and the bliss of stillness.
Explore it with a single cup of tea, a warm soup after a long day, a needed hug, the synchronized laughter with a friend, a warm shower, music, art, cooking, dancing, giving and receiving, breathing, and simply being.
The beauty of life is not something that has to be sought; it simply has to be recognized.
For life is beautiful, as are you and me ❤
